Collecting schoolwork shouldn’t be extra homework

Problem

Assignments in every inbox

Submissions arrive by email, chat and USB stick, and each one has to be renamed and saved by hand.

Sign-ins students don’t have

Google Forms and shared folders ask for a Google sign-in that many students and parents don’t have.

Paper forms that go missing

Permission slips and enrollment papers get lost between backpacks and the office, and someone has to chase them.

One link per class or form replaces inboxes and paper.

15M+ files collected. No accounts for students or parents.

How schools collect assignments and forms

How it works

  1. 1

    Create an uploader

One uploader per class, assignment or school form, each with its own folder.

  2. 2

Share the link or QR code

Post it in your LMS, email it to parents or print the QR code on a worksheet.

  3. 3

    Files arrive sorted

Every file lands in the right folder, named by student, and form answers go to Google Sheets.

Set up your first class in two minutes.

Frequently asked questions

DriveUploader is an assignment submission and form collection tool for schools and universities. Students, parents and applicants upload assignments, permission slips, enrollment documents and applications through a link or QR code, without creating an account. Every file is saved to your school’s Google Drive, sorted by class and student.

Yes. Schools and universities get 20% off DriveUploader plans. Contact us to apply the discount to your account.

No. Unlike Google Forms file upload questions or Google Classroom, DriveUploader doesn’t ask anyone to sign in. Students and parents open the link on any device and upload their files, which makes it work for younger students and for parents outside your school’s domain.

Not a replacement. Google Classroom manages courses, assignments and grades. DriveUploader collects files where Classroom doesn’t fit: from parents and applicants without a school account, from students sending large videos or portfolios, and for admission and enrollment forms. Many schools post DriveUploader links right inside Classroom.

Yes, with no file size limit on any plan; files only need to fit into your school’s Google Drive storage. Students can upload videos, presentations, portfolios and whole folders, so you can receive large files without email limits. Google’s own limits are 750 GB of uploads per account a day and 5 TB per file, enough for a whole class of video projects.

Yes. Create a permission slip form with the student’s name, the activity and a consent checkbox, and let parents upload a signed slip if your school requires one. Every response is saved to Google Sheets and every file to the class folder. DriveUploader doesn’t provide e-signatures, so check which form of consent your school accepts.

Yes. Every upload is logged in Google Sheets with the student’s name and time, so you can compare it with your class list and see who is missing before the deadline.

Uploads go straight to your school’s Google Drive and no copies are stored on our servers. Students and parents can only upload, never see other students’ files. You can close each uploader after the deadline or protect it with a password. Files are encrypted in transit, and our Data Processing Agreement is part of our Terms and covers every account.

No. Document AI can log documents and read forms into Google Sheets, for example the assignment title, page count or the details from an enrollment form. Grading and feedback always stay with teachers.

You can start for free. Free uploaders stay open for 24 hours. For permanent links per class or form, plans start at $5.99/month, and schools get 20% off; custom forms such as enrollment forms need the Pro plan. AI processing uses credits, starting at $9 for 100 documents. With the Team plan, your whole school manages uploaders in one workspace.
