Chasing client documents slows every matter down

Problem

Evidence buried in email

Photos, contracts and records arrive across email threads and get filed by hand.

Sensitive files over open channels

Clients send IDs and records as plain attachments or chat messages.

Incomplete intake

New clients forget documents, so the first meeting starts without the facts.

One secure link per matter replaces email attachments.

15M+ files collected. No logins for clients.

Frequently asked questions

DriveUploader is a client intake and document collection tool for law firms. Clients fill in your intake form and upload IDs, contracts, evidence and records through a secure link or email address, without creating an account. Files are saved to your Google Drive, and AI logs every document in Google Sheets.

No. Clients open your link in any browser on their phone or computer and upload their files. There is nothing to install and no registration, so clients can send documents even from a phone at the courthouse or the hospital.

Yes, for collecting documents. Each client or matter gets its own secure link or email address, files go straight to the matter folder in your Google Drive, and clients never need an account. DriveUploader doesn’t include messaging, e-signatures or billing, so it works alongside the tools you already use for those.

Uploads go straight to your Google Drive and no copies are stored on our servers. Clients can only upload, never browse your folders or other clients’ matters. Yes. Build an intake form with the questions you need, list the documents clients should attach, and embed it on your firm’s website with your logo and colors. Every submission lands in its own folder, and the answers go to Google Sheets. Custom forms need the Pro plan.

Most firms ask for the client’s contact details, the type of matter, the names of opposing parties for a conflict check, key dates and a short description of what happened. Then list the documents the client should attach, such as an ID, contracts, correspondence, photos or records. Personal injury, family law, immigration and estate planning intake forms usually add a few practice-specific questions on top.

No. Practice management software covers billing, calendars, trust accounting and client messaging. DriveUploader does one job: it collects client documents into Google Drive and logs them in Google Sheets with Document AI. Many firms use it alongside their practice management software, and you can send new uploads to other tools through webhooks or the API.

You can start for free. Free uploaders stay open for 24 hours. For permanent links per client or matter, plans start at $5.99/month; custom intake forms need the Pro plan. AI processing of documents uses credits, starting at $9 for 100 documents. With the Team plan, your whole firm manages uploaders in one workspace.

Clients can upload any file type, including long video evidence. There’s no file size limit on any plan, as long as the files fit into your Google Drive storage. AI reads PDFs, Word documents, photos and scans. You can limit file types or set a maximum file size for each uploader.
