How do I receive large files in Google Drive?

How it works

Send people one upload link. They drop in files of any size without an account, and everything lands in your Google Drive, uncompressed.

  1. 1

    Create an upload link

Choose the Drive folder, add your logo and, if you like, a short form.

  2. 2

    Send it

Email the link, add it to your website or show a QR code. Senders open it in any browser.

  3. 3

    Files arrive in Drive

Files and whole folders of any size land in your folder in full quality, and you get notified.

Limits

DriveUploader sets no file size limit. The only limits are Google Drive’s own, and your senders never need an account.

Your logo and colors on every upload page

Your brand

Senders see your brand, not ours. Add your logo, choose your colors and font, and match the upload page to your website, all without code.

Embed the uploader on your own site with an iFrame and translate every step into your clients’ language. Whether it’s a 50 GB video or a folder of raw photos, clients always know where to send it, and it lands straight in your Google Drive.

Ask for details with every upload

Custom forms

Add a short form for the project name, deadline or notes, so every large file arrives with the context you need. Use text fields, dropdowns, checkboxes or radio buttons, as many as the job needs.

Answers are saved to Google Sheets next to the files, and they can name the folder in your Drive, so a 12 GB delivery for “Spring campaign” lands in a folder called exactly that.

Know what arrived without opening every file

Document AI

AI describes every photo and reads every document that arrives, and writes it into Google Sheets. Find the right file in seconds instead of opening hundreds.

Tell it what to look for in plain words, like who is in a photo or the total on an invoice. It reads PDFs, photos and scans, Word documents and text files, and every free account gets 10 AI credits a month. Videos are saved to your Drive as they are.

Large files upload in parts. If the connection drops, the upload page keeps trying and carries on from the last part that arrived once the connection is back, so a big file doesn’t start over. Senders only need to keep the page open until the upload finishes; files that are already done are in your Drive.

Uploads stop when your Drive is full, and we email you so you can free up space or upgrade your Google storage. Check your storage before a big delivery. Google also limits uploads to 750 GB per account per day, so spread very large deliveries over more than one day.
